Life History:  Perennial

Growth Form:  shrub

No native range for the cultivar. Parent species are native to Japan and North America

Double pink, fragrant flowers, smother the plant in color. Forms an upright mound in the landscape and will tolerates full sun to part shade. Reportedly a cross between Mollis hybrid azalea (R. kosteranum, native to Japan) and Roseshell rhododendron (R. prinophyllum, native to North America).
