Life History:  Perennial

Growth Form:  shrub

South Africa - Cape Province

Shrub with greyish-green, foot-long leaves divided into toothed leaflets with malodorous smell when touched.  Flowers are foot-tall spikes of reddish brown, 1 inch long flowers which bloom in the late winter and early spring.

Used as an ornamental. Listed in Sunset Western Garden Book (2007).
