Liriope spicata is an evergreen Perennial growing to 0.3 m (1ft) by 0.4 m (1ft 4in) at a fast rate. It is hardy to zone (UK) 4. It is in leaf 12-Jan It is in flower from Aug to September. The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs)Suitable for: light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils and prefers well-drained soil. Suitable pH: acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought.
